Teacher Spotlight: Dr. Michael Spain

Education Background:
Dr. Spain earned his Bachelor of Arts from Union University in Jackson, TN. He went on to complete both his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and Ph.D. in Applied Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC.
Years in Education:
With 12 years of experience, Dr. Spain has taught students at both the middle school and collegiate levels, making a lasting impact in both worlds.
What He Loves Most About Teaching:
“From middle school students to graduate students preparing for ministry, the one thing I love across the board is getting to know my students, building relationships, and hopefully being an encouragement in their lives.”
Did You Know?
Dr. Spain has served as a pastor for over 20 years. When he’s not teaching or ministering, you’ll likely find him at the grill or smoker, cooking up something delicious. His love for food and fellowship led to the launch of his own small catering business: The Spain’s Table Catering Co.
